SSIT-ISTE Students' Chapter being established during the year 1991 with the motto
"TRAINING IS EVERYTHING, WE CAN GET EXTRAORDINARY RESULTS OUT OF ORDINARY PEOPLE BY
TRAINING AND TRAINING" is actively functioning by organizing events like: guest lectures
by experts, technical workshops and trainings that help students to update their knowledge
about the new technologies. ISTE Students' Chapter of the institution is organizing a
National Level Technical Symposium - TANTRA. The team being guided by our Dean Student Affairs,
Manjula Yerva, Dept. of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, SSIT, and Dean Academic
Dr. Renukalatha. S Professor and HOD, Department of Computer science and engineering, SSIT,
Tumakuru. The main phase of ISTE Students' Chapter in SSIT started Technical Fest TANTRA in
the year 2008 and is conducted every year. The continued success and growth of the SSIT-ISTE
Students' Chapter and its flagship event, TANTRA, speak volumes about the dedication and
passion of its members and organizers. Over the years, TANTRA has evolved into a platform
that not only showcases technical prowess but also encourages innovation, creativity, and
teamwork among participants. The collaborative efforts of students, faculty members, in
conceptualizing and executing TANTRA have contributed to its reputation as a premier technical
symposium. Through a diverse array of competitions, workshops, mock interviews and keynote
speeches, TANTRA has become a melting pot of ideas and experiences, enriching the learning
journey of all involved.
Tantra 2023, held on 17th November 2023, showcased a dynamic array of events, bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds to engage in intellectual and creative challenges. The event featured a spectrum of activities, fostering collaboration, innovation, and skill development.
For the fresher, we made the promotion about the ISTE and also describe the benefits of the ISTE membership. Along with that we make them realize that they can easily get the opportunities in the ISTE and by the member of ISTE they get useful for their future.
For those who has participated in the Tantra event and secured the winner and runner up, have got the prizes and the certificates and it is distrbuted from the college principal and our dean mam and other chief guest. The participants got the certificates.
Last year, an engaging workshop on the Internet of Things (IoT) was conducted, with students actively participating in the creation of projects. The workshop was led by Yogesh Sir from the Telecommunications Department. During the event, students delved into various aspects of IoT, working on hands-on projects that not only enhanced their theoretical knowledge but also provided practical insights into the application of IoT technologies.
Kaypee Electronics & Associates Pvt. Ltd. (Falco) is an industry leader in designing and manufacturing magnetic-based electronic components for power conversion, energy metering, and telecommunications. The industrial visit on December 8, 2021, allowed 47 students from Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology to explore their manufacturing processes and product applications, accompanied by faculty members Mr. Puneeth K and Dr. Batluri Tilak Chandra.
